Order Information
How do I know if you received my order?
After you have
placed the order, a confirmation will appear on-line. This confirms
that the order has been received. In addition, you will receive an
email with the order summary and confirmation number.
When will my order ship?
Most orders placed Monday-Friday
by 3pm EST, are shipped that same business day. Shipping will not occur
on Saturday or Sunday. Orders received during the weekend will be
promptly shipped out on Monday. Some exceptions include:
- Drop ship items are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Delivery times will vary.
- Back ordered merchandise will ship as soon as the item becomes available.
What is your backorder policy?
If an out-of-stock item is backordered, the item will be shipped immediately upon receipt from our supplier.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders are instantly transmitted to the warehouse for shipment and therefore difficult to intercept.
What does small, medium, large equate too?
Small is recommended for adolescence and small women
Medium is recommended for average women and small men
Large is recommended for men and large women.
What do I do when my size (example 7 ½) falls in between your offering (size 7, 8, 9 etc)?
We recommend going up in size (size 8).
Will AliMed recommend a product for me? (Example: I have heel pain; do you have something to help?)
We do not make recommendation on products. Your Healthcare provider needs to make that decision based upon your diagnosis.

What are my shipping options?
The following shipping options are available:
- UPS Ground Delivery
- UPS Next Day Delivery
- UPS 2nd Day Air Delivery
- FEDEX Next Day Air Delivery
What do I do if I receive a damaged shipment?
if you
receive a damaged shipment call the carrier and report it. depending on
the value they may come and do an inspection. They will provide a
ref(claim) number. Then call Alimed at 800 225 2610 with the
information and we take it from there. Damaged shipments must be
reported within 5 days of receipt.
What if I open my package and find items missing or defective?
We
make every attempt to accurately pack and ship your order. Should you
receive incorrect, damaged or defective merchandise, please contact
Customer Sevice at 1-800-225-2610 for assistance. Short shipments must
be reported within 5 days of receipt.
How do I return an item?
Please call Customer Service at
1-800-225-2610. A Customer Service Representative will provide you with
a Return Authorization number and further instructions.
Are there items that I cannot return?
The following
products have restrictions or cannot be returned. Please call Customer
Service at 1-800-225-2610. Shoes, Stockings, Toilet Seats, Utensils and
miscellaneous other products.
Can I get a sample of a product?
Yes,
providing the item you are interested in is a stocked item. For
accounting and inventory accuracy, an order is entered on our system
referencing your po number. You will have 7 days to visually review the
product. If you are not fully satisfied, simply return the goods to
Alimed. Upon receipt of the return goods, Alimed will process a credit
in full for the merchandise value.
Product Warranty Information
AliMed warrants its products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for six (6) months unless otherwise noted.

What are my payment choices?
We accept Purchase Orders,
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If you wish, you can
send in your order through the mail. Checks and money orders are also
accepted.
Is your site secure?
We understand that you may have
concerns about using your credit card to make online purchases. At
Alimed.com, we utilize a digital certificate from Verisign, Inc., a
leading provider of Internet trust services. When you enter a secure
portion of the site (any page that shows your account information), you
will see a closed lock or a solid key at the bottom of your browser. If
you click on this, a popup window displaying security information will
appear. This certificate is a guarantee that your account information
is being transmitted in a Secure Socket Layer (SSL), the industry
standard 128-bit encryption technology security protocol. This is
widely used by the banking industry, as well as major e-commerce sites
on the Internet. All of your ordering information is encrypted using
this secure server for maximum security.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales tax will be charged in Massachusetts only.
I need a copy of my invoice. How do I get one?
We will be
happy to fax that to you. To obtain a copy of your invoice, please give
us a call at 1-800-225-2610 and provide the order or invoice number.
For credit card orders, we will be happy to fax you a copy of the order
as invoices are not created for cc orders.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. Though not required, purchase orders are accepted.
When will my credit card be billed?
Your credit card will be billed when your order is shipped. Your charges should appear on your next credit card statement.
