Supervisor, Vestibular/Balance Program
Emily Straub, DPT is the physical therapist of the Balance Rehabilitation Program at Metro SportsMed. She graduated with her clinical doctorate degree in physical therapy, with an emphasis in neurological rehabilitation, from Marquette University.
Emily’s continuing education experience includes courses in Vestibular Rehabilitation as well as the treatment of progressive neurological diseases, such as Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She treats balance dysfunction, gait abnormalities, and functional losses associated with neurological diagnoses such as stroke, Parkinson’s and MS. Emily also treats symptoms of imbalance, dizziness, and vertigo associated with inner ear dysfunction.
