Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis throughout the
world and is a leading cause of disability in our adult population.
The Osteoarthritis Research International (OARSI) an international, multi-disciplinary committee of experts analyzed recent evidence-based research on osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee. The OARSI committee recommendations were published in 2008. The majority of treatment recommendations were non-pharmacological and non-invasive in nature and form the core of THE METRO SPORTSMED® PHYSICAL THERAPY PROGRAM FOR KNEE OSTEOARTHRITIS.
